06 · Maker's Note
Why we built a wedge we couldn't buy.
For three seasons on the PGA fitting circuit, I kept writing the same workaround into build sheets — shorten the heel, soften the trailing edge, drop two degrees of leading-edge bounce. The OEM files wouldn't allow it. So we cut our own.
The Signature Series C-Grind isn't a marketing label. It's a measurable change in sole geometry: 1.4 mm less heel material, a hand-polished trailing edge, and a CG map we re-cut for each loft instead of scaling one shape across the set. The reason every head is serialized isn't romance — it's so we can pull the exact sole dimensions on a re-order five years later.
Forty-seven touring professionals carry these wedges right now. That number matters to us because it's measured against the OEM wedges we replaced in their bags, not against each other. The wedge you receive from us will be built against your Trackman numbers, not a catalog SKU.
